Mother: For me? Oh, what a beautiful, beautiful orchid. Thank you [kisses Son]
Son: [kisses M. back] You’re welcome. So you like it?
M. Yes, it’s a gorgeous plant. Do you know how these are called? Phalaenopsis. Remember we used to come to the Orchid Shows when they were @ the old Financial Center’s Palm Court?
S: Yes, that’s why I chose it.
M: You’re so thoughtful, thank you
S: Sorry I am late, I was @the flower shop selecting a plant for you. So, you do like it?
M: Very much. [kisses S. again]
S: Good. Come with me here, where is more light. [takes out his i-phone]
M: That’s OK, I don’t need a picture, I have your present right here, it will be cherished.
S: [takes a picture] But I do, I will text and send a pic to my GF, for proof. I do visit you. I give you flowers. I am not some ungrateful Satan!
I like his girlfriend!

Me too. If not for her, I wouldn’t have seen him for years on end, rather than months!
It was hilarious

HAHAHAHA! Brilliant. You should be proud that you didn’t raise an ungrateful Satan. Besides, your son was just multi-tasking, a skill I’m sure you taught him. Getting two things done through the same action.
Good boy.

You think? He is, rather.
Just thought: Buttercup, you would appreciate the scene in downtown Minneapolis on Sat, 5-4: all those derby ladies in their fancy hats…when I was leaving on Mon, some of them were @airport in line to security xrays in front of me, carrying huge round hat boxes…

Oh…LOVELY! Yes. The Derby is resplendent for its hats and horses.
But some of the hats are…well…a crime. A gorgeous hat is a delightful thing. A hideous hat is worthy of life imprisonment, as far as I’m concerned.

Speaking of Derby: flower giver in question went there 2yrs ago (already!) and send the picture featured in this post.
As to this year’ hat in MN, look.

OH! Well, it’s still a lovely hat. And very much in the same style as the one you are wearing! See? I told you it would flatter you! Even when I’m wrong…I’m right. HAHAHAHAHA!

You are one sleek act!
Thank you. Between us, I rather like myself in that hat. Now is your turn! In your favorite hat and on your favorite horse…pretty please?

Nope. I own a company which is very prominent in the horse industry and that’s why I blog under an assumed name. Must keep my identity under wraps, as it were. You’d be surprised at the number of idiot liberals in the horse industry…or maybe not…it is filled with the wealthy and the entitled.

Surprise at the number of liberal idiots? I a) live in NY b) have been working in Architecture and Design for many years.
I even have a special tag on this blog: “limousine liberals”. Paradoxically, the wealthier bastards are, the more idiot-liberally-inclined. Guilt trip, whad’ya’gonnado.
