Don’t follow the logic of all that talk about “loyal opposition”, myself.
Let them fail (as they inevitably will), and the sooner the better. Less rubble to clean up.
Not only do I hope he fails but I hope that the majority of people come to realize he is a socialist piece of shit interested only in holding his nose as high up in the air as he can while giving speeches.
Not just him, though. It’s a major attack of socialists. What’s he – he’s just a front. “An empty suit” didn’t magically fill up with the sound of trumpets in front of the White House. It remained what it was before – a stick doll. We have a puppet and his puppet government in our own country, propped by statist socialists. Not all of them domestic, I’m afraid.
Update
I have fixed the link to the source of my quote; that’s what happens when there are 5 windows and 3 conversations go on at the same time… Was alerted to it by a blacklisted commenter. Not altogether smart comment – the topic here is obviously different from the one at Alarming News – but since the link was, indeed, a wrong one and because I’m fair (or maybe just a kind, nice person) – I declare conditional amnesty to the guy. Conditions are simple: a) assume some moniker other than relating to your spoof blog of somebody else – or I will have to invent one for you myself; say, Demagogue – how do you like it? ; b) read and follow the policy described on my About page. That’s all.
This is why I had such a problem with everyone who was running around before this past election looking for a magic bullet that would defeat Obama, as if the threat posed to the Constitutional nature of the republic were something that had suddenly manifested itself in the form of a nondescript, thoroughly corrupt, Cook County bag-man/neo-Marxist reactionary, and not a Gramscian/Deweyesque disease that had been hollowing out our country’s institutions for over half a century.
Defeating a person or a group of people is not the same as permanently extirpating an idea, which is why the celebration of the end of the Cold War was premature, and why you have a President Daniel Ortega today. My friend has distant relatives living in Slovenia, the most prosperous former constituent part of Yugoslavia. But what is the most popular item in one of his relative’s apparel stores today? T-shirts emblazoned with the images of Josip Broz (Tito) and Chairman Mao.

I agree the punk and his followers (and, as you say, some of his masters) will ultimately fail, but in the meantime they will make a god awful mess. Eliminating the retirement savings of the middle class, for starters, not to mention their real savings if the banks start cratering and FDIC can’t keep up.

The biggest blow is to middle-size business. All those huge corporations that can afford to bribe/strike/lobby the government and can afford to move operations overseas will not fall. Mom-n-pop stores could remain afloat: their volume is low, and it’s possible to get by. By middle, companies that rely on innovation, steady work of 30-300 employees- that’s where the biggest losses will be. For all of us, very soon after their fall.

Dear Gerty from Epsom, UK: I’m flattered that “everyone” in your libtard socialist circle have no warm feelings for me.
And…”rusiina”?
