… stopped following tradition of hurriedly finishing up before 12/31 deadline all that was started before. no, I didn’t mop the floors and didn’t bake, and didn’t wrapped up several projects. but I did end several relationships with people who are very important to my wellbeing. it hurts, but had to be done.
anyway – here’re some pics that appeared to be legible on my phone after yesterday’s party.
curiously, the majority of the crowd were Asian – either Chinese or Indian, with sprinkling of anglosax and latin-americans. one pair was black; both a guy and his girl a perfect copy of flapper fashion picture. altogether, the women were uncommonly beautiful, and dressed in beautiful clothes; not those ugly hoof-looking shoes and rags with uneven hemline – no, really well-made dresses and appropriate jewellery, elegant heels. many guys wore tuxedos. needless to say, the average age was about 27, but I didn’t feel excluded. a girl from a table next to mine introduced herself – Sonia (ecuadorian or chilean, gorgeous skin) and invited to join their company – 3 other girls (asian) and 4 guys (all white – one, Dan, I think Jewish). the party, appropriately for the announced theme of “prohibition-era”, was a scream – despite many kids nervously checking their phones/ FB/TW all the time.
I think it was after 2am when I opened my door, don’t remember. several proseccos, glass of bubbly plus couple of cocktails put me off to sleep rather fast.
