A question to IPad-wizards [Alex?]
On my PC laptop I use FireFox. Works for me, I am used to it and see no reason to change.
FF has system of add-ons, one of which is called AnyKey. It is a useful little script, allowing me to toggle between Eng and Rus by pushing F2 key on keyboard, right in the middle of any textual task – on web, in Word or other similar program.
IPad uses Safari, by default. Is there anything like that for Safari?
For instance, if I am searching something on google while on Safari, how can I quickly switch to Russian and back to English?
And where is F2 key on Apple keyboard?
[you perceive how patient and composed I am. And non-personal. I didn’t curse even once!]
Found Y-tube video on How to Add another Keyboard and to switch between. That’s better, but still not exactly what I’m looking for. Instead of learning yet another keyboard (Rus key placement is very different from Eng) I prefer to use Latin (Eng keyboard), type Russian words on it with Eng keys, but the text will show the words in Cyrillic. That’s what FF add-on AnyKey does. Any thoughts?
