2 out of 3; one’s left – and i”m all set.
as you might have guessed: i am back, exhausted. slept all night and half a day.
how those always on business trips do it?
the only free time before 5pm was on monday; naturally, walker and arts museum were closed. so you’ll have to console yourself with pics of nicollet mall and its footbridges. ladies in derby hats are almost absent from the pictures, though, as well as crazy prom kids – and both categories were in abundance on saturday. especially the latter, promenading barefoot and bareshouldered in 47F-degree weather on a stone sidewalk…there was another over-represented class of residents: junkies. it seems that every 10th passersby could fit into one of these three categories. i found lund in theater district, brought back wi cheeses and local honey. was harassed by and fought with a woman who i thought to be a friend (while having a civilized lunch and espresso at an outdoor cafe); i am disturbed, will probably skip next grading or several or all…
