It is instructing to see Republicans (who, in theory, are supposed to be…republicans?) brown-nosing a monarch. An utterly useless, expensive nuisance with inflated ego, a symbol of tyranny of birth over accomplishment on merit. Also: a common denominator of catholics and monarchists: love for theatrical ceremonies.
